Pre-Professional Company Auditions!

 

2022-2023 Season begins on August 15th!

 

Mini Pre-Professional Company Auditions (Ages 5-8): Saturday, June 18th from 12:30pm-1:30pm

 

Junior Pre-Professional Company Auditions (Ages 9-16): Saturday, June 18th from 1:30pm-2:30pm

Auditions are free. You must reserve your dancer's spot in advance. 

A sign-up sheet will be posted in the lobby.

Audition dress codes and criteria will be sent out prior to auditions.

 

What is The Company?

Our Mini and Junior Pre-Professional Companies are designed for dancers who are passionate and committed to their training. Our Company performers represent the studio. We have high ​expectations for our company dancers. They must be fully committed to their dance schedule, be punctual, and attend class regularly.

 

These dancers will receive performance opportunities outside of the recital, training that will prepare them for a professional career, and will be assisted by The Diaz Sisters with their development as a performer. The Diaz Sisters have worked and performed for companies such as ABC, NBC, MTV, Apple, Radio Disney, Walt Disney World, Apple Music, Grammy Awards Chicago Chapter, Nickelodeon, and the Chicago Jr. Luvabulls. They are also the on-set choreographers for the Emmy Award winning "Carpool Karaoke" and "Post Malone's Celebrity World Pong League".

 

Mini Company (Ages 5-8)

 

If your dancer is selected to join the Mini Company, they will be required to attend at least: 

​

• Mini Company Ballet: Mondays from 4:35pm - 5:25pm

• Mini Company Jazz: Tuesdays from 3:45pm - 4:35pm

• Mini Company Tap: Tuesdays from 4:35pm - 5:25pm

• Mini Company Tuition: $330 every 5-weeks of classes ($66 per week)

 

Additional class options (not required for the company):

• Hip Hop

• Breaking

Junior Company (Ages 9-16)

 

If your dancer is selected to join the Junior Company, they will be required to attend the following classes:

​

• Ballet: Mondays from 5:25pm-6:15pm

• Jr. Company Hip Hop: Tuesdays from 5:25pm-6:15pm

• Tap: Wednesdays from 4:35pm - 5:25pm

• Jr. Company Jazz: Wednesdays from 5:25pm - 6:15pm

• Jr. Company Contemporary *: Wednesdays from 6:15pm - 7:05pm

• *Only company dancers will be eligible for Contemporary next season. This class will not be offered to dancers outside of the company. The Tuesdays Hip Hop class and Wednesday Jazz class will also be exclusive to the company.

• Junior Company Tuition: $475 every 5-weeks of classes ($95 per week)

Additional class options (not required for the company/$19 per week each):

• Pre-Pointe: Mondays from 6:15pm - 7:05pm (invitation only/must meet certain requirements)

• Breaking: Tuesdays from 6:15pm-7:05pm
