Pre-Professional Company Auditions!

What is The Company?

Our Mini and Junior Pre-Professional Companies are designed for dancers who are passionate and committed to their training. Our Company performers represent the studio. We have high ​expectations for our company dancers. They must be fully committed to their dance schedule, be punctual, and attend class regularly.

 

These dancers will receive performance opportunities outside of the recital, training that will prepare them for a professional career, and will be assisted by The Diaz Sisters with their development as a performer. The Diaz Sisters have worked and performed for companies such as ABC, NBC, MTV, Apple, Apple Music, American Greetings, Radio Disney, Walt Disney World, Apple Music, Grammy Awards Chicago Chapter, Nickelodeon, and the Chicago Jr. Luvabulls. They are also the on-set choreographers for the Emmy Award winning "Carpool Karaoke" and "Post Malone's Celebrity World Pong League".

Past Performances

Our 2022-2023 Performing Companies performed at Knott's Berry Farm and on the court as the Pre-Game Entertainment at the LA Clippers Game.

Audition Information

• Auditions for our 2023-2024 Performing Companies will be held on Saturday, June 17th, between 12:30-3:30pm at the studio. We will schedule your dancers audition window once we have received all sign-ups.

• If you will be out of town on this day, you may submit an audition video.

• You must reserve your dancer's audition spot in advance. Please email info@diazstudioofdance.com to sign up.

• All dancers must audition, even if they were a member of the company this season.

• Dancers must be in 1st-12th grade during the 2023/2024 school year.

• Depending on which level your dancer is placed in, they will be required to attend class anywhere from 3-6 times per week.

• Audition criteria will be sent out before auditions so your dancer can prepare. We want your dancer to succeed!
