In our Dance Intensives your dancer will train in multiple styles of dance including:

​

Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap

     

Your dancer will learn:

Technique, Performance skills, Choreography,

How to choreograph a routine, 

plus, audition prep!

 

Each day will end with a stretch/cool down and we will film a music video at the end of the week!

Two Week Wicked Musical Theater Camp

Musical Theater Dance, Singing & Acting Camp with live in-studio performance!
(for dancers entering grades K - 9)

Join us for two weeks of singing, dancing, and acting as we bring the magic of Wicked to life! 🎭

 

Campers will prepare a medley of songs for a live in-studio performance on the last day of camp!

​​

During this camp, your camper will experience:

  • Lessons in singing, dancing, and acting.

  • Set/prop design/building inspired by the iconic Wicked musical

  • A live, in-studio performance of a Wicked medley to showcase their talent!

PLEASE NOTE:
Dancers who earn a spot in the Diaz Studio of Dance 2025/2026 Performing Company will be required to attend a dance camp or dance intensive. Dancers going into grades 1-3 are required to attend a camp. Dancers going into grades 4+ are required to attend an intensive (the Wicked Musical Theater Camp does not fulfill the requirements for dancers grades 4+.)

Dress Code
Ballet, Tap, & Jazz shoes required for Dance Intensives. Jazz shoes required for Musical Theater Camp. Comfortable dance clothes that do not restrict movement. Suggested clothing: leotard with bike shorts, t-shirt and joggers, biketard. NO JEANS. NO STREET CLOTHES. If your dancer wears a leotard, they MUST wear bike shorts. No cotton leggings. No jogger shorts. No dresses. No costumes. Hair must be pulled away from the face. If hair is too short for a ponytail or ballet bun, hair MUST be pulled away from the face with bobby pins or hair clips. Bangs that are longer than the eyebrows must be pulled away from the face with bobby pins or hair clips. No jewelry.

Required outfit for Friday = All black leotard and all black bike shorts, or all black biketard.

Cancellation Policy:
Dance Camp, Teacher Training, Dance Intensive Tuition, and Extended Care Fees are non-refundable/non-transferable. Account credit will be issued if a dancer cancels their reservation at least 28 days prior to the first day of camp or intensive. Account credit may be used toward tuition for the 2024/2025 dance season. Account credit cannot be used for a future camp or intensive. If a dancer cancels their reservation less than 28 days prior to the first day of camp or intensive, account credit will not be issued. Spots are limited. Refunds, credits, and make-ups will not be issued if a dancer misses a day of camp or intensive.

Diaz Studio on Stage tuition and fees are non-refundable/non-transferable. Refunds, credits, and make-ups will not be issued if a dancer drops out or if a dancers misses a day of camp.

Please Note: We charge $1 per minute for late pick up.
