The 2021-2022 season begins August 16th!
New students may enroll at any time.

Dancers must register at least 24 hours prior to class. Due to limited class capacities, we cannot accept walk-ins.

Instructors will place dancers in classes that do not have an age range listed.  Please email us at info@diazstudioofdance.com before enrolling.

Class schedule:

Intro to Ballet/Tap (3-4 years old)

  • Mondays, 4:00-4:45pm 

  • Saturdays, 9:00am - 9:45am 


Ballet (Instructor approval required)

  • Intro to Ballet/Tap (Ages 3-4) - Mondays, 4:00-4:45pm

  • Intro to Ballet/Tap (Ages 3-4) - Saturdays, 9:00am - 9:45am 

  • Ages 5+ : Tuesdays, 4:00pm - 4:50pm

  • Ages 5+ : Saturdays, 10:00am - 10:50am

  • Ages 9+: Tuesdays, 5:00 - 5:50pm (must also be enrolled in contemporary, jazz, tap, and/or hip hop)

 

Contemporary (Ages 8-17)

  • Mondays, 6:00pm - 6:50pm (Instructor approval required, must also be enrolled in ballet or jazz)


Tap

  • Level 2 : Wednesdays, 5:00pm - 5:50pm 

  • Level 3: Wednesdays, 4:00pm - 4:50pm (invitation only, must also enroll in at least two classes per week)

  • Intro to Ballet/Tap (Ages 3-4) - Mondays 4:00-4:45pm

Jazz

  • Level 1 Hip Hop/Jazz (ages 5+) - Thursdays, 4:00pm - 4:50pm

    (must also be enrolled in contemporary, ballet, tap, and/or hip hop)

Hip Hop 

  • Level 1 Hip Hop/Jazz (ages 5+) -Thursdays, 4:00pm - 4:50pm 

  • Open Level (ages 9+) - Thursdays, 5:00pm - 5:50pm  

  • Level 2 - Tuesdays, 6:00pm - 6:50pm (invitation only, must also be enrolled in ballet, tap, jazz, and/or contemporary)

Pricing:

Tuition may be purchased by clicking the buttons below, or via venmo @DiazStudioofDance. After purchasing tuition, please email info@diazstudioofdance.com with your class choices and we will sign your dancer(s) up for you!

10 week payment periods

Once your dancer has enrolled, it is assumed they will continue through the end of our 2021-2022 school year (through June 19, 2022).  Your card on file will be auto-charged every 10 weeks of classes (4 charges total). They must remain in the same classes each week through the entire school year. They may add classes; however, switching classes is not allowed because consistency is key. If your dancer chooses to drop out mid-school year, you must inform us via email at info@diazstudioofdance.com at least 10 days before the next payment period. Dancers may not drop out mid payment period. If your dancer has rollover classes from the Summer Session, Payment Period 2 will be prorated. If your dancer is new to the studio, their payment period will begin the Monday of the first week they attend class, and the auto-payments will be scheduled every 10 weeks of classes. The last payment period will be prorated accordingly.

Receive a $50 credit towards your next payment for each friend who enrolls for a full payment period!

1 friend = $50 off next session

Etc.

Friends must be new to the studio and have never attended an in-person or virtual dance class with DSOD. Dancers who enroll at the end of a payment period must attend at least 10 consecutive classes to be considered a referral.

Covid-19 Protocols for Indoor, In-Person Classes

  • Only students are allowed in the dance room. Parents/guardians may view the class from sidewalk unless noted otherwise at the door. Please wear a face mask over your nose and mouth, and keep at least 6' apart from others.

  • Temperatures will be taken upon arrival.

  • Social distancing protocols will be in place throughout the dance room.

  • Masks must be worn at all times and must cover the nose and mouth. If we notice that a dancer's mask continues to slip and not fit properly, we will provide a mask and your cc will be charged $5 for the mask purchase. If a dancer forgets their mask, we will provide one and charge your card on file for the $5 mask purchase.

  • No water allowed in the dance room. Water bottles may be stored in the cubbies. If a dancer needs to drink water during class, a DSOD staff member will escort them outside so that they do not take their mask off inside.

  • Street shoes are not allowed in the dance room.

  • If you, your dancer, or anyone in your household are not feeling well, or have any Covid-19 related symptoms, please stay home.

  • Please make every effort to have your dancer use the bathroom prior to arriving at the studio.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available and stationed throughout the studio.

  • No cash accepted. We accept payment via Venmo, our website, or MindBody.

  • All students are required to bring a mat for strengthening and stretch exercises.

  • No congregating allowed. Dancers may line up for class outside of the studio 5 minutes before it starts. Please keep at least 6' apart. If they arrive earlier, they must wait in their car.

  • Ballet barres will be sanitized before each class with a disinfectant that meets the EPA's criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Dancers will have a designated area of the ballet barre to use during class, and the surface will not be shared with others.

  • Studio, dance floor, and bathroom will be cleaned throughout the day with a disinfectant that meets the EPA's criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)

  • Certified HEPA air purifier that captures up to 99.97% of microscopic allergens as small as 0.3 microns and 99.9% of certain bacteria, mold spores, and viruses will be placed in the studio.

  • HVAC system is inspected regularly, and filters are changed regularly.

  • The front door of the studio will be open to allow fresh airflow inside.

Youth/Teen tuition purchases are final/non-refundable/non-transferable. In the event of a mandatory studio closure, classes will be conducted virtually or outdoors, depending on government regulations and space availability. No refunds or credit will be given.

 

Youth/Teen workshops/parties/special event purchases are final/non-refundable/non-transferable.

Youth/Teen Missed Class Policy: If a student is going to be absent, the parent/legal guardian must notify the studio at least 3 hours before class, or the student's account will not be credited for a makeup class. Tuition Payments are final/non-refundable/non-transferable. If a student misses a class or the class falls on a holiday, he/she can makeup the class in another class of the same or different style and same age level or one age level below or above during the session he/she is enrolled in. There are no refunds anytime the studio is forced to close for an act of nature. In the event this happens, dancers can make-up the canceled class in another class of the same or different style and same age level or on age level below or above during the session he/she is enrolled in. Credits due to missed classes, or acts of nature do not roll over to the next session. Parents/students are responsible for keeping track of their missed classes and makeup classes.

 

Youth/Teen Trial Class Purchases expire at the end of the session during which they were purchased.
